that's 5-6 miles out

Of all the people that should no its farther than that...how could you forget!!!  Me, you, and mahi paddled farther than that and we were still in 180 feet.  That day was ridiculous.  I think we went out a little over 7 miles.  One of the dumbest/funnest days on the yak.

I have the #'s to the primary spot they fish for Pacifics and it is 10-11 miles out in front of Eureka in 250 to 310 feet.  They are closer in (3 miles or so) at the Cape but the currents out there scared the $HIT out of me and Shimmy when we paddled out there.

I hope to be hammering them with the new pb.
