Any Warriors out there?

 Some of us need a break.[ right Keo?]
I am painting my new leadheads white with fingernail polish and sipping hot tea.
Later, I will dab a spot of black for their eyes .
 Excellent use of forced inactivity.

I've done some light rain trout fishing at times, like this:



I find that I don't last long after the thermos runs out of coffee.     It's the wind that I just wont put up with.  But with proper gear fishing in the rain can be quite fun!  Just not all day long... 

And on a day like this?  Forgetaboutit!

Auburntroutman and I did a day on collins last Feb. like that with 20mi. wind gust I like the way my abs feel after

Because my office is in the deep redwoods, just getting to the parking lot is taking my life in my own hands.  the path is littered with widowmakers.

*Shiver* I can relate - our house in the middle of such trees - the rain so far did not bring much, but last couple of weeks, the windy days brought down some sizable limbs - sometimes they do not make much noise as they fall......

i worked for davey tree a few years back, we had a really nasty winter storm and me and another guy were 60' up in bucket trucks trying to trim limbs off the powerlines, while limbs are snapping off everywhere and pummeling the truck and the powerlines. The lines were shaking up and down and slapping the bucket.NOT FUN!!
