I took two rounds for this country, if they expect me to pay for my guns, or be taxed, they have another thing coming. I have the right to keep and bear arms.  I would feel very sorry for the persons that are ordered to disarm me.

MontanaN8V, Im no veteran, but i sure as hell respect you guys, and I agree with what you said here.. They sure need to start treating veterans with respect and give you what ever the hell you need...

Thanks for the post!  I wrote an email to the Gov. pleading for a veto.  It's also convinced me to stop waiting, and purchase my first firearm.  Looks like I'll be shopping at Target Masters this week with my buddy, probably going to pickup the Glock 30 I've had my eye on.  :smt007

Glock 30 is a fine gun.  I carry the 35 for my service gun here at work, little longer barrel in the .40 cal, and dang accurate.  You can drop it in the mud, shake it off, and fire an impressive group.  You can't go wrong with a glock, just keep an eye on the feed ramp if you start having mis-feeds after a few thousand rounds, there are several aftermarket barrels that are fantastic and tend to feed the hollow points in better than factory barrels. Just my opinion, and again, that is after several THOUSAND rounds have been cycled through.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.
