Yea he had some octopus in his stomach and was 21 pns even at 39 inches long.

Great ling!

I broke my rod on my first kayak ling too. Seems if you point a graphite rod vertically at the sky and the ling heads for the bottom the tip snaps. Now I'm careful to keep the rod more parrallel to the horizon until the ling has run a couple of times.
