Stillwater P.B., best day of the year...

Probably the best day so far this year! Weather wise... On the water @ 7, worked from the left, then west. Tried everything in the box... 31/2 hrs. 3 keeper Blues and 1 Vermillion. (That's a total for both of us) Very slow, lots of birds and no furbags. Client was pleased, I tried not to look too bummed...

Wow, according to the title and first sentence, I was expecting a super day.  I'm guessing the PB meant powerboat and not personal best!  Sorry things were off for you and the client - next time!

Ya, I'm a guide... Hell, I'm out there anyway... But, people like Allen and Aarron have way more hours on the water than I do, and much more to share. I've got a decade or so under my belt, I know what I know... My Dad used to say, " I've taught you everything that you know, but I have not taught you everything I know..." Cool, huh? I just saw Matt and it sounds like we were fishing right next to each other yesterday and didn't even know it! I think I was a little bit north of you. Hopefully I'll see ya next time.

If Stillwater isn't producing like it should, you can always look for better spots on your non-guiding days. Isn't that where the fun is, looking for new spots?
Are you guiding Sunday or can you make Davenport II?

Sorry to hear it was more fishing and not catching. Sounds like the day I had there a week ago Sunday. Im not vert pleased with my last three trips to Monterey and PB. Hopefuly the bigger lings will be showing up in the next few months. Seems like it got better towards the end of season last year. Gota keep at it.

Forgot to mention when I was there last time fishing out in front of the huge pink house in about 40 ft, a big WSB cruised right under me while I was jigging the bottom.

LilRiverMan... the quest is always on! Not to mention, always trying to mix it up, offering wise... Davenport, not happening for me. Need to w#*k. Will you be there? If so, let me know how you do. Sorry I missed ya after MBK Derby.
