Fishing today was ok, nothing big and several missed bottom attacks. I had a ling on (I think) as I wrestled it to the surface it shot horizontally toward the kelp with some attitude. Tangled me up and came un-buttoned. I never actually saw color so I will be happy if it was a feisty ling and even more happy if it was a WSB. I was fishing on the outer kelp bed around the corner. All in all a great day with sunny and glassy (for a while) conditions until around 10:00. We tooled around the cove after that and came home with 5 decent gophers and a copper. My friend had a great first day and is now addicted....

Its was a bit slow but i hooked into the fatest cabbie of my life there, big fight! Fianllay got him on the yak, went to grab him, and he flopped out of the boat... Still good time

Thanks for the report dude!!

Thanks for the report, Mike. I haven't been there for a little while and was just thinking about it the other day. Fishing for me there has always been on the slower side but that place is so beautiful it makes up for it
