Good job man. I was out there trying for one on Saturday south of marshall but no luck down there. The ranger I spoke to out at PR told me Hog was producing for some and your catch proves that. Going to try up there next time. jim

Nice job on the fillet. It's paper thin between the bones.

Great catch!  I was wondering when the first report would show up here. I put in some serious time there last year for all skunks.  I gotta get back out there.  Good news on the bait - I didn't have much luck making bait last year.

Thanks for the report - I'm heading that way next week for the first time and bringing my daughter for her inaugural yak fishing trip.  I scoped that channel on google earth - looks like you beat me to it.  Congrats!

Looks like a great hali spot but sounding a lot tougher than it looks.  Anybody have any luck on anything besides live bait?

We will arrive the morning of 7/20 - plan on fishing that stretch in the afternoon. We're planning on going down near Marshall on 7/21 for just a paddling day.  I'll probably fish around hog again the morning of 7/22.  PM me if you'd like to hookup.

Just keep an eye on the wind. One of the most brutal paddles I've ever had was in Tomales. BIG afternoon winds are the norm there.
