Thanks for the tease Dustin. If the water was that way last time we were out, I
would have stayed till the park ranger pulled me out of the water. :smt044
Thanks for taking some pictures to share. I guess I am your lucky charm, you
seemed to always catch a fish whenever I am around.

Big congrats to you Adam on the halibut. I am still 1 for 8 on the chase myself
and very determined to keep going until I catch one.

Forgot to mention that I reeled in my first shiner and found hali teeth marks down the side of it. Never even saw that bite and I usually end up with a thousand yard stare and a kinked neck from watching my rod tip so closely.

I also had another hit rip my shiner clean off the hook, which mystifies me since I keep my drag so loose.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Hi Barb and and welcome!! :smt006

I'm sure some of your hubby's fishing mojo has rubbed off on you, so if you are coming to Albion, please don't out fish everyone like your other half does. :smt010

Hope to meet you there.

Rich

Unfortunately I won't be going to Albion. I would of liked to but we have a 16 year old cat "Fuzzy" that cannot be left alone overnite or we start to worry. She's become very clingy in her old age. But there will be other gatherings.

I totally understand. Our Cleo is a white Siamese that is 13 plus and if we go away for an overnight, when we get home we have to put up with her scolding us for about an hour. She's very vocal....

But even in her old age, she chases raccoons ( we've tried to talk to her about the stupidy of this sport, but she doesn't listen  :smt009), and she still manages to cath a hummingbird every so often. (this really makes us mad, but she just doesn't listen.....).

Donn and I do hope to meet you at an event soon...

Rich

Check the hook-up thread below:

We just started bringing our 18yr old calico cat "Callie" camping with us. She will be at Albion. Sorry you can't make it up. Maybe next time. :smt006 jim
