I guess I started early.  Caught 2 yelloweyes at the Fort today.  Not a hot bite by any means today.  I caught a sorgasborg of small fish ... blacks, blues, chinas, gophers, olives.  But a nice vermillion or a ling eluded me.

Talked to Allen on the phone this evening.  They got out for butts one day.  Howard got 2 chickens.  Allen got blanked on the butts, but did well on the copper rockfish.  Today they spent working on Howard's cabin.  Tomorrow is a salmon day!!!  Three more days and I'll be up there.  Looks likely well do a long range multi-day trip somewhere.  Now if I can just finish off some work before I head up ...

Plane leaves in 2 hours.  All packed and ready to go.  Did someone say to pack to pack light?   

Allen and Howard have been taking it easy, leading a few trips, and giving the fish a break. That's about to change.
