KIS=Keep it simple

Ed Gillette used a kite to sail/paddle his kayak from MBK to Hawaii.IMO kites work better because they are small, light,and can be dropped quickly if need be.

Looks a lot like this...http://www.pacificaction.com/

The boat being blown over or blown away scares me tho.

Hi Yakers;

  No flaming on my part BANJOTAD.  I admire people who
create! I wish I had the room to "HomeBrew" a few ideas.
  My last creation was a CalStar Rod. Too bad my first two Batches
of Flex-coat didn't cure. My wife kicked me out of our Kitchen because
of the mess! :smt005
  Thanks for taking the time to share your ideas.

That's the design I modified, took one look at the prices and told myself "I can build it at a fraction of the cost"
I have less than 50 bucks invested in it, and $25.00 of that went to a seamstress  to sew the nylon sail.

Now I'm thinking of a home made rudder system, any ideas gang.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
