I've seen a few people asking what they should bring on trips. I've forgotten some important gear on trips so I set out to make an exhaustive list that would include everything for a trip. I put camping/fishing/diving stuff all on the list. I go down the list and check off all the stuff as I pack and take what I need depending on the type of trip. A week long trip to the coast with the family requires much more stuff than a half day run to the bay with a friend. Hopefully this will help some people. Please add anything else you can think of.

This is how I ususlly list my stuff to go for "Boat in" (Kayak in) camping.  Truck camping, list is a bit longer due to the 8' foot truck bed for storage!



Gear list
•   Back packing stove, lantern, Fuel bottle (gas) oil lamp
•   Thermarest, sleepin bag
•   Tent, (Tiny rain-flyless dome this time did not know it flyless untill too late :smt013)
•   Small tarp
•   Camp chair (Now chared from being blown into the fire from the hurrican strength winds at DelVall FnC09')
•   Headlamps, flashlights
•   Cooler

Food list
•   6lbs shirt steaks, marinate sauce, Saturday night dinner Costco man dogs?
•   Breakfast, oatmeal instant bowls
•   Snacks, trail mix bars
•   Buns
•   Water 2gal
•   Camp mug

•   Peanuts! (Forgotten)
