Playing " Hooky " At Clear Lake

Great report, awsome fish, awsome fishing with your boys!!! How old are they? They look to be the same age as my son. Hope we can get them together and fish soon...Andy

Looks like a great time. It's nice to put the kids on the fish without them getting too bored.
Can't wait to get back to CL.
We camped at the state park for spring break 2 years in a row.
Might be there in about 2 weeks with the wife and kids for a few days.

Wow....

 I'm wiped out!!!! Been running since I got off work Sunday Morning
 ( Sick BTW,,, ,  No time for Pikers!!! Get it going!!! )

 Get it all together, all reels, respooled, (, no way I'm going to slack here and watch a trophy break off their line due to that!!! ) All my Bass Gear has not been touched since last year, so digging thru everything, and so it goes as packing for 11 y/o twin boys down to extra clothes, gear, etc etc etc etc etc etc... and they are getting over colds too so bring along a portable ER with Albuterol, Pulmoaide, Benadry, Tylenol, Motrin ( all Children's with specific doses etc..) Humidiferie, My meds, Mucamist, Tylenol, Trazadone.. Oops!!! tea tinctures, it's reported to be rainy and cold, what else do I need????

 "God Dammit!!!! I've been working at this for almost a Day, why the Hell are we not out the God Damm Door????"  and it's raining....

 On the road, Finally!!!!!... relaxing actually, time down,  AHhhhhhh

Things are Good, 

 Now, I'm not unfamiliar with the unending amount of diversity that goes along with raising kids, and I'm not trying to whine about being at the end of exhaustion and having to referee Fights that have no resolution whatsoever...

 " He won't Stop Touching Me!!! "... " He Touched Me First!!!! ".. " No I didn't!!!!! ...""""   

                                                   

 This is where your Glad to have Listen To Bill Cosby records at sometime in your life for what your about to say may sound insane, and maybe is, but your desperate...

 " No One, is to touch anyone Again, for The Rest of your Life!!!!!  "

 I think ya get the idea,  they help where they can and I include as much as I can, but it Basically comes down to you and hopefully a never ending amount of energy and patients....

 I'm Starting to realize that I don't work this hard on a 6 Alarm Fire   


 Ya get out on the water,  work hard to make sure everything is just so, and hopefully they will listen enough to keep the line in play and not snagged to where ya need to retie everything...

 Things start too come into perspective,  their out on the water with me, their enjoying themselves, a wave of calm to starts to take me over knowing I've done all I need too, an it's up to chance now....

 Then Magic Happens....

 " Daddy I Got One!!!! "   Ya Look over, The rod is bent so far over your sure it must be snagged and then Mr. Monster Bass jumps out to give ya wink to let you know he just made your Day and a Lifetime of Memories...

 Nothing, can compare to getting your Kids out there and hooked up on Fish on a Yak   

 Nothing......

 Gotta Love this Sport..... 

 Not to mention, just got thru helping with their report they had to do about our trip. Pretty Kool what your able to do these days, Looks like one of our reports... Narratives for each day, put some color pics in their too, then print them up...

 I feel sorry for their classmates tomarrow......

 Now, I got to go Pack for work for 2 days....

 Thank God, I need some Down Time.......



 Oh,  The afternoon report.....

 Good... Morning was a bit windy with fog on the lake, waited, packed up and got a late check out..

 Great Move,  warmed up nice, wind gone by 11:00, Noah Hooked up on 2 nice Toads ( Notice Net Ripping!!! ) and I managed to pick up another one on a Robo and Plagiarize both Hunter and Hydro with one Shot!!!

 Another thing... fishing and having your son's hook up can put your own fishing rods at incredible risk,

 my rod leashes save 2 rods this outing, that makes six total.... Food for thought

Great report Danglin, love the shots of the guys on the water. Sounds like a great trip!  The parts on the "Danglin Family Vacation" had me laughing my butt off.

 It's about a nice a Campground your going to find next to being at a nice Hotel..... 

 Looking at these older pics, The $$$$$$$$$$$$ on Orthodontia was well spent.....
