What about your net was making it tippy?
It's pretty heavy, with the rubber netting and telescoping pole.  Having it in the rod holder was creating an imbalance is all.  I do it on my OB (barge) all the time without issues though.

My thoughts exactly Troy!  The OB will be my tow truck that weekend!

This is true, but since the gallery is broken I couldn't do the post the way I wanted, so I stole Mooch's way of doing it  :smt044

Thanks all!   :smt006  I cant wait to start the pimping process now!  Gotta wait for the bank account to refill a little though!  :smt005

See you guys on the water!

Congrats on you new rides Al. Thanks for helping out the economy with your
purchases. How do you like your new yak being that we both have an OB?
I'll be getting my new yak soon as well. Just waiting for my buddy to clean out his
garage to make some room for it.

:smt044 how much is it worth to not have your wife find out about it?

Well, I understand a lot more what people are talking about now wrt speed, stability, tracking, etc.

This probably sounds funny, but I didn't know that most kayaks WANT to go in a straight line...

The OB without a rudder kind of wants to spin, where this one goes forward.  Takes less effort paddling too than the OB and feels like it "coasts" much farther.

I definitely need a better paddle, and possibly a new seat, but it was fairly comfortable.  Didn't bring any scupper plugs, so I got wet.  Never use em in the OB.

Thanks Al.

Hey bassmanben, I have the OK from the wife months ago now to buy another
kayak. I am holding off to get it because of my friend. We will be picking it up
together to save some gas.

I was going to say you're using an Outback to carry your Outback, but then you got the T13. Congrats.
