Was checking to see where I can still fish locally in San Jose, and saw this on the park website:

http://www.sccgov.org/portal/site/parks/parksarticle?path=%252Fv7%252FParks%2520and%2520Recreation%252C%2520Department%2520of%2520%2528DEP%2529&contentId=3b4598ba77784010VgnVCM10000048dc4a92____

As of January 12, 2009 through April 14, 2009 the following changes will occur:

Anderson and Calero Reservoirs will be open 5 days a week as follows:

 Anderson
Open - Friday through Tuesday (and Holidays)
Closed - Wednesday and Thursday
Calero
Open - Wednesday through Sunday (and Holidays)
Closed - Monday and Tuesday

Stevens Creek and Coyote Reservoirs will be closed to all boating during the dates stated above. This includes float tubes.
(Shore line fishing is still permissible).

  Beginning April 15, 2009 through June 30, 2009 all four reservoirs will re-open 7 days a week.

That says the access will return to 7 days/week. But does this mean boats will be allowed after 4/15?

As I understand it, the lakes are open 7 days a week for shore fishing, just limited to the days boats can be launched due to the cost of inspectors.

The bad news is that there won't be any trout planted at Stevens Creek Reservoir.
