Yesterday I had a fiber1 bar for lunch and soup/buttered bread for dinner, plus a fair amount of coffee - pass.  Today I'm holding out with another fiber1 bar (and 48oz coffee) so far.

Thanks PISCEAN,

Hopefully nothing, but not a bad idea to get as healthy as possible....

I'm not really participating in the comp, although I should be...I've been trying to cut back on the intake.

I realized that my lunch time trips to Baja Fresh were costing me close to 1K calories.  It's been hard but I haven't gone there in about a month or so.  I also tried cutting out the coffee but I started getting some pretty serious headaches so I had to try to gradually decrease it rather than go cold turkey.

My major exercise comes from my noble steed.  So far I've ridden Wilder Ranch, and Monte Bello.  Mostly Monte Bello because it's a bit closer to my apartment.  One thing is for sure, I've gained a lot of respect for those guys out there (both MTB and Roadies) who climb hills so effortlessly...or at least they make it look effortless.  I sometimes wonder if they've been inbred with Goats.

I'd like to get down to about 200lbs, but we'll see how far along I get.

...Then make only as much as you need to eat.

This is probably one of the best pieces of advice for me.  If I make way too much for Omar and I it's not too big of a deal because I just go ahead and put it in the fridge for later.  But if it's only a little bit more than what we needed I usually convince myself to eat it so I don't have to go through the trouble of putting it into tupperware.   :smt003

.... So far this week:
I went rollerblading with Elsie at the gawd-awful skating rink.  Decent exercise and great dad time.....

Great work, exercise and Dad time, unbeatable - I have never seen a rink that's as bad as the one in Ukiah, I thought the ones in Sonoma County were the pits when I was a kid.

I'm following Fishhunter's advice andd starting with oatmeal, plus drinking lots of water each day.  I have been remiss on the exercise end of things mainly cause of ISE.  I had to work a five day week into 3 days, and now its 4 days of ISE show, so no skateboarding or surfing for me till it's done.

If I told you guys what kind of junk I eat everyday you'd probably want to lynch me.

However, for the past five months (with the exception of the last three weeks) I've been going to the gym six times a week. Every other day, twice a day. In the morning I do mostly cardio on the elliptical (30 minutes min., usually 45., sometimes 1 hour) then some circuit training. Then I go back for 45 minutes of weight training and circuit training during my lunchbreak.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...
