Going to MarkleyCoveResort $15 launch @ 6:30ish ....they got live minnows and the word on the water is the dam area is the spot to be...that's where I'll be!
never Yak-Fished it...but that might be the luck I need.
You should already know the company line!!

Did you check at Turtle Rock for minnows ? Or Markley Cove if you should pass by there ? Both have tanks and always had minnows in the past - although DISTANT past ! Good Luck on your fishing , I've always done good on SM Bass with chartruse/yellow crappie jigs at Berryessa .

Spanish Flat has minos how about Moskowite corners that's where I used to go. Good Luck Adam.
Ben I'm hitting Sonoma Sat.

I don't know which way you're going, but if you going through Winters, I'm pretty sure Berryessa sporting goods store or Lake Solano Gen store have them.
or as mickfish said Spanish Flat store usually has them if they're not out.
You can get them at Vacaville Gun's fishing & other stuff has them, but they open 9am...
oh, I forgot to tell you.  I used to do pretty good the purple color w/ bright green or yellow tail worms there for SMBs.
really really wish I can go with you, but really have to work, so good luck!!! :smt006

Capel Cove is a free launch but those coves don't hold very many smallmouth. If you're gonna be on that side of the lake, go to Spanish Flat. They almost always have minnows, and sometimes crawdads. Just outside the marina there are some productive rockpiles on your right (as you head out) or the underwater island to the left. The not-so-secret lure for Berryessa smallies---live crawdads!

If'n you strike out at Berryessa, I can recommend a lake south of Salinas that is full of smallies....but yeah, I know--long drive.

That report of limits was for trout.
