I agree w/ Sin Coast... Bonito is the right call. I'm getting many reports of them, between Carmel,
Asilomar and PG... Don't know about north bay, but they are here!

Steve S and I hit the bonito big time a few years ago.  christmas vacation down at laJolla Shores with PAL.  Light gear spinning rods and a small castmaster (or really any little, zippy lure)  I cant remember but it was like 60 fish day or something.  I kept the final two so I cold get them on ice quick, and my son loved eating them.

So fun!!
