Holy Cow! Look at the size of that octopus! A 10-foot octopus was caught off Pigeon Pt as this guy pulled up his crab pot. Could you imagine seeing that beast wrapped around the trap when it hit the surface? I bet it tasted delicious too.
I know this article is a month old, but it was news to me.

It's a lovely example of how the coldwater species from the North are found in this area.
Very cool. If only we had the lings to eat tako that size!
