I notice when viewing pics that many people are using measuring boards.

Are they easy to stow out of the way? Or, is it something that's left ashore?

Where would I buy one? I've never seen them in any shops/catalogs.

I'm using a adhesive boat-ruler. But, it's starting to peel up after about six months.

Is it mandatory for the AOTY competition? I'm interested in '09.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Everybody that signed up for AOTY got one...for FREE.  They have made things 100% better, so if your gonna do it, I would get one.

I put one of those stick on ones on my paddle.  Easier to move the paddle around than get the fish by something on the boat

Before I got my hawg trough, I had a trimmed-down yard stick that fit in the footwell of my T140 perfectly. I just stick the hawg trough on the bow, under bungee cord. And pull it into the footwell when I need to measure a fish. Although, it's been a while since I last measured something with it, unfortunately.

It's OK for small fish but I find I need 3 hands to take a picture with a bigger fish?
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
