Lovers pt.

Have not fished there yet,any of you fish around there much? Any tips on the area? looks good with all the kelp ,like i said  I'm just starting..Been fishing carmel  pt.alot,once down in Big sur at Mill creek.Just wondering if the lovers area is over fished  or what.Thinking about hitting it up in the A.M.

You know about the no-fishing area in that vicinity, right?  If not, check the reg book or the DFG website,  and punch the #'s into your gps. 

did not not know....but you can fish close to there right?

If you launch at Lovers, paddle out around the point to the north (left). Once you've totally cleared the point, it's OK.
