Being a freshwater angler I was way out of my element and I found myself tested and educated often. Luckily for me I happened to be traveling with the justice league of hunting fish in kayaks.
The adventures shared with this crew was a special event in my time on the rock and I will always be grateful for it. Im still in recovery from the trip and I havnt quite transistioned back to this reality but Ill try to give a solid account of this phase of the trip.
I was as humbled as my nature will allow when I had arrived at the ranch, but the Lady Cortez was starting to warm up to me. The day before she had shown some love with a wave to ride and a gift.  #1
Day 1 at the ranch was special for me. a durado right out of the chute, a nice pompano and then the experience of the toro. It was part of the education and I learned alot. My body payed the tuition. The toro was a warrior and fought even through the photo op, until I placed it back into the water. It turned sideways and drifted to the bottom exhausted. Luckily the fish had drug me into the shallows ,after my tour of the east cape, and I was able to swim down and give it some momentum and it charged back into the green. #2
In the attempt to get back to the fish I took a hit from a jelly but all well worth the peace of spirit after this amazing fishing experience.
Here are some visuals and ill post more soon. Now its all about unpacking, getting the sand out of everything, and getting ready for the next adventure. Here are some visuals from the trip but not all are from the ranch.

BTW we can call him sea hunter here, but I was there, and you can see in the photos,
Justin IS Aquaman.

Great report guys!! that's something I've always wanted to do. Hit baja with a yak. Did you guys truck down your own yaks, or did you rent em down there? Some flew, some drove? The variety of species is awsome!! Looks like a blast for sure. One of these days....
