Had the day off and decided to take the kayaks to the A for a paddle and maybe hook up a few shad. Dave met me at the house and we headed to Goethe to launch and drift to Howe. We hit all the spots along the way to no avail. Dave was fly fishing and I went with the grub/leadhead. It was a great trip and sure beat work. The best time I've ever had while being skunked!!!

This was the first time I used the Yaks for fishing.  Only abs before, but that is going to change.  Still going to hit up the Abs but adding the fishing is too cool.  Thanks to Sin Coast for his posts to motivate me in that direction.   Next step is some ocean rockies!!!

Thanks to Dante for the 411, I owe you one.

Great report, Crunchtime.  The yak fishing may be more addicting than all other forms...  You might have seen a post or two of mine at FSF too - EStock is my name there.  Keep the posts and pics coming.   :smt001
