Hi GB2:

I would love to join you b/c i could really use a trout for the smoker.  But since I just went today, my boat is wet.  And you know how they get all nazi about hull moisture, so I'm gonna sit it out.

Good luck at the Loch!

Oh, man, I wish I had read this hookup sooner. On this gorgeous day, I would much rather have been fishing Loch Lomond than sanding my kitchen cabinet doors. :smt010 Next time...

Scott,

Was that you on the dock at LL about 3:30 yesterday tearing down your P15?

I was going to come by and introduce us but my wife was a bit panicked as we had our younger daughter and a friend in a paddle boat, and they were nowhere to be found. We had paddled all the way up the end of waddle creek, then back with the wind blowing. She was worried because th egirls were not anywhere. We had checked all coves on our way back..

So I got to paddle all the way back donw the lake , found them by the reeds just as you enter the creek area.

I'm still tired.

Rich - that was me. My screen name is on my boat so I am easy to recognize. I was going to say hello but you didn't have rods onboard, so I thought you might be one of those enviro yakers.  One of the things I learned from the MLPA's is to beware of yakkers without rods onboard.  :smt005

Janice - I have a Bosch palm sander you can borrow which will speed up sanding the flat surfaces. PM me if you want to borrow.

Scott,

"Enviro Yakers."?? Now thats funny right there!!!

Donna was saying that she thought she saw the word bass on your Yak...

I'm right in the midst of outfitting my P13. At the same time I'm wrapping three rod blanks that Hank in Japantown, San Jose made for me almost 30 years ago.  But before I could do that, I had to build a wrapping table, then a dryer motor assembly, then I had to go down to Ernies's Casting Pond for guides and thread. Then I had to rebuild my reels(Thanks to the great digital lessons from Alan Tani).

Then I have to mount the Humminbird 535 that just arrived.

But I'm right in the middle of tearing out the main bathroom in our house..

Oh, lifes just a party...

Rich

Rich -

Enviro yakers, seal huggers they all came out for the MLPA's and they weren't supportive of our consumptive lifestyle. :smt005

PM me if you need help with rod building.
