I've seen three cars out there along Guard Road, the northern levee east of Honker Cut.  I guess they don't guard it very well even though it is fenced off to the public.  The cars look like they have been there a while.  Not sure if the Sheriff's Dept. or Enviromental Agencies know or care.  Anyone know who to contact?

Adam, it was great fishing with you and hearing of the monster sturgeon you caught straight from the horse's mouth.  I'll let you know when the buzzbait action is ON.

I agree.  Freaky car shot.  Gotta love the delta.  My son & I found an older wooden boat, freshly impaled on a piling near Franks tract.  It still had the rods in the water & depth finder on the dash.  No people though.  Nice fish shots.

Sunday Report:

Went out again today.  It was a beautiful day on the water again.  Lee hooked up with me in the morning to try for some bass with his fly rod.  He caught several bass and a crappie.  Weather was identical to yesterday, but a slight breeze helped cool things off a little later in the afternoon.

I caught 10 bass today, two over three pounds, but nothing bigger than 4 pounds.  Most on Texas rigged worms, one on a Chatterbait, and three on the SENKO (X-squid, I have a pic to prove it too).  Not too many PB and skiers: I suppose they spent all their gas money on Saturday.

Be safe out there,

Hobieblue

Hey Hobieblue, just watching you nail them made my day. I guess any lure you used worked that day huh. Even the chatterbait... what a blast. It was great hooking up with you and thanks for sharing your spots. They do have fish. Though I did not hooked anything to brag about I still had a great time.
