I thought it would be fun too?...but NOT ONE of us got a hit and we tried hard!

after suffering a NO-Stick takedown on my first drop of the eve, thought it was gonna be ON!.. the four of us couldn't find a taker after that,...but it sure got COLDER as soon as that sun set......Juan suggested we get out of the shady tree line and get out in the WARMING RAYS of the MOONLIGHT, which worked for about a minute as we fooled ourselves into thinkin it was WARMER?  Then threw-in the towel on the NITE-Hunt(who'sIDEAwasTHATanyways? ) and headed to camp to really WARM-UP next to a FIRE and tell spooky stories of Clearlakes' past and present creatures.

Awoke to start the coffee and got the fire going for a morining warm-up and then off to the frigid waters.
Ben was soon to arrive and joined the crew.

We all got fish...some more than others...but thats wut it's all about!  It only takes 1 cast and that dream fish could be sitting RIGHT BELOW IT.

If I'm not mistaken you guys took Hiway 29 / vallejo on your way home.  you guys were at a stop light by the old wal-mart as I was making a left turn for home.  I was not fishing that day so seeing yaks on board got me envious.  Nice pics.

NONE!   it was too cold.  Juan read a 10deg difference between the morning and afternoon.
sooooo close!

My nephew ran out of agents early and was dippin into my reserves until all were used for the purpose in which they were created.....to GET GOBBLED!  we continued back to camp, drifting all the way while stopping here and there to reel up a fish.....it was getting tough so we had to call it a day.

word from the shore is that as soon as the water temp hits 59-60?  it's gonna be hookin crazy!....stand by!

Your not the only one who feels that way.....I do too, everytime I see a FISH REPORT that I'm not invovled in.
