Looks like Monday, but with how forecasts are, who knows?!  The weekend has become a total nightmare!   

Anyone up for Monday?   

Called the SC store and they said there were no reports of fish being caught.  With that and the weather, it looks like it's time for me to pull the plug on the salmon season that never happened.

This weather is starting to eat into my pocketbook some. Can't it blow during the week and give us one friggin weekend . I've had to move all my friday whale watching tours to Sunday. We're looking at a smallcraft advisory on Friday with potential gust of 40 mph. Today looks like the day to get out there otherwise it's river salmon for you AOTY'ers

I hope you get a chance to try for salmon at the Cove before April abking! 

Lots of guys are still planning to fish the salmon opener in Monterey Bay. Because technically, the season has not been closed yet. Unfortunately, I won't get to hit the opener because of other obligations.
But I will get my chance when the salmon season reopens this summer. Just a shorter season than usual.

Thanks, PK.  I should be there Monday, and hopefully the fish will be too!   

And you sure are an optimist on that "there'll be a season" thing!   

So, no takers for Monday?  It's sounding sweet...

 

Wish I could but gotta work. Its the end of the quarter for our company and everyone is running around like a headless chicken around here.

FYI Salmon season is officially closed, bummer for you guys!

What is this world coming to???

Not much of an "article" there.  This inaccuracy:  "...that opened for fishing in early March." goes along with the irresponsible statement that some vague north coast area is now closed.  There is a requirement of 10 days notice, and that was given - it closes on April 1st, but thanks for the heads-up, Bill.
