I don't think the upper Eel blew out, just picked up some flow.

Way to go Jaun, I'm glad you hooked up and had a productive day despite the weather. I was able to get in a couple hours on the Mad but would have loved another drift down the Eel. Sunday may be my last shot

Well the river run Friday would've been fun, albeit wet...  But the ocean was absolutely unyakkable all weekend, and the river blew out (mudflow) by Saturday morning.  The wind today was brutal - megacold.  I think the aborted trip was warranted.  I sure hope you guys are up for another try later on this year.   :smt001
