I was adjusting the drag because it was set light to provide a more entertaining fight with the rockfish.  35lb spectra could just winch them up otherwise.  Once I realized I was into a freight train I buttoned down to a reasonable amount.  I'm pretty good at adjusting the drag on that spinning reel because I loosen it to act as a clicker fishing for bat rays, then tighten it once I hook up.

I like Linda Mar because it is down the street and I figure If I can survive the surf there I can anyware.  However who the hell saw a great white!

With all the skunks I have had for salmon I think a big fight would what the doctor ordered as long as I get a look at it.

Brian G in Lodi you guys have been making the news lately. Do you see FBI cars parked everywhere like the news makes it out to be?
