so i have this ws t120 and have done all the modifcations to, and i was just wondering does anyone have any ideas for the rear 4" access hole. it seems to be very useless until i can find something to do with it. not sure what to do with it. any ideas would be great.

It's nice to have access there so you can get your hand inside. You can install and remove a drift anchor set up or mount your battery in back to balance the yak. Or find that little widget that rolled away. You can stash a small dry bag with first aid supplies or whatever.

Im a Tarpon rider too, and I cant stand those little tupperware hatches. Ive contemplated cutting the lip off and installing hard hatches, but so many projects, and Im not sure if a 6 inch hatch would fit in that recessed area.

Im interested in seeing the mods on your 120 though. bring on the pics.

You can get a stainless steel "bucket" type thing from the kitchen sink section of OSH. I believe they're called "canisters"? I got that tip from Marmite and got one myself. It works great. I toss used hooks, sinkers, lures in there when I don't have time to get into my tackle box in the tankwell. Just cut my line and toss it in there and clean it up later. It is also a good place for your GPS, camera, lip gripper, etc.

I have a Tarpon as well.  I stow my jacket in here if I remove it on the water.  This hatch provides the easiest access to "deep" storage without having to climb around.  The bucket idea is cool, sounds like it would be easily removed and replaced.
