no salmon, one pair of specs lost punching through a couple of nasty breakers while under the influence of heavyduty prescription drugs

Anybody spots a pair of gold-rimmed specs there let me know

Trolled 2-3 til dark up to rockypt and back for no salmon

got back to muir just in time for a night-time landing

In parking lot ranger or state park police asked how far out I'd been and if I'd come across any oil slicks

After thinking about it a minute there was a stretch from around gull rock to rocky pt that was heavy in foam and inside was slick like a mirror which looked pretty peculiar since water was otherwise pretty mixed up

So spill may be creeping its way up to Stinson

unless something miraculous occurs that's my last shot at salmon which makes it a 3 salmon year :occasion18:

might be time to fish up a few rockies, if I can figure out where it's legal and where it's not

Thanks for the post - I was thinking o trying tomorrow. Some of the Coastsiders are reporting limits but they're fishing a ways off from the buoy, out of my kayak range. Looks like a minus tide this weekend. i might go for a mussel-hustle instead.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

Its harder to try hard and fail then to work easy and win sometimes.
When you do everything right and better then most, what more can you say?

"Blue, you're my boy!"
Sorry, flashback from Old School.

Sorry about the yardsale and skunk. Think of it this way: you're building up plenty of fishy karma. Maybe you should drive south of Pigeon Pt to cash in some of that karma..?

Thanks,
PK

Guitarzan I was thinking I might bump into you on Muir with a firepit going

Glad you missed the slick, I just heard its all the way to Sonoma now...

Maybe only by a few feet

I was taking snaps of the foam with a little disposable

inside was glassy smooth

I imagine the tideline will keep it off of Stinson Beach
