Welcome to NCKA!!! Nice trout on one of my favorite lures. White wooly buggers however have not worked for me. Black or olive are my go to colors.

Grizz, I didn't have a GPS with me but I guess my speed was ~2mph. The wind usually starts to picks up around noon.
Yeah, lots of shore angler...but also lot's of shores not accessible to shore anglers. You got to try it. ChuckE and I love this local trout lake. If Sherman Lake is a no-go this Sat, I'll be there 7:30ish. Ch69. Good luck!

 I have heard that you shouldn’t get too close to the shore ‘cause you’ll get hit with a flying weight.  It that true?

 i fish there all the time at least 2 times a month and have never come across anything like that most people on the lake are super cool!!1

When i used to fish from shore, I hated when boats cruised too close to MY SPOT
and I'd let them know it!
...so when i'm paddling around now, i stay FAR from SHORE ANGLERS, out of respect and pity.

Dude - I will have to give the white buggers another try. I don't fish for SMB with flies, but will have to give it a try. Will have to hook with you and Lino in the next few months.
