The weather looks decent for the weekend? I need to get some rockfish bodies for crabs in a couple of weeks. Anyone else interested in joining? I'll be staying the weekend in san jose if anyone wants to commute over.

Hey Brian,
I am interested in fishing on Saturday. Although conditions look better on Sunday, my family is driving down from Lodi to visit Sunday. So I am stuck with Saturday.

But I was considering the Outback Gear Swap too….hmmmm. And if I hit the Gear swap, I'd likely go to Coyote Lake on my way home.
I launched from stillwater for the first time 2 wknds ago and it was cool. Albiet a long paddle to reach the good water.

I'll send a PM once I've decided: ocean fishing VS Gear Swap and Coyote Lake. It’s a tough choice. Hmmmm…

Hey Brian, let me know if you plan to dive.  I think it's time I get out there.  I think Sunday would be better for me, but Saturday may work.

I totally forgot to mention that the red tide is in full effect from Monterey up to Santa Cruz right now. Vis is crappy inside the bay too. But Carmel is usually unaffected.

And, yes, I'd love to try for salmon next time I visit Lodi. I've only really fished the Moke from shore. There is a good access point about 5 minutes from their house...they're actually in Acampo, on E Collier Rd.

I am on the road for the rest of the day and won't be online until late tonight. I am ready for either diving for fishing.

I just talked to Pacifico and sounds like we are on tommorrow for San Carlos area. We'll get the details posted when they are figured out.

I'll probably spend most of my time diving but I might do some fishing if I am not feeling seasick or cold after diving.

Looks like it's going to be the San Carlos area in Monterey between 0900 and 0930.  Hope to see a few others out there with us.
