The ferries belong to a couple lodges out here that I'm able to put guests on as well, the seaplane company is Alaska Seaplanes. The cost either with seaplanes or the ferry is about $250 each way. The ferry is best because it runs in most all weather situations whereas seaplanes are very limited. Also, you don't have to pay extra freight to bring your own provisions and fishing gear.
Correct, we can have big tides and currents so fishing the right tides, times and areas are key, safety is number one so we would have a "chase boat" system that would be assisting. As far as childcare, we don't have anything here.....yet haha.
For fish species, we have king, coho, pink , sockeyes, lingcod, halibut, yellow eye and a huge range of rockfish.

I hope this answers a few of the previous questions. Thank you all for the questions and interaction on the topic.

My wife is sick of tuna and wants salmon. Interested but focus on salmon and halibut would be important to the WAF.

I am very interested but don't want to bring any fishing gear.  Do you provide rental rods, reels, tackle, bait etc?  What about the option of fishing on a charter boat for a few days to cover the distance a kayak can't?
