He saved it. Pickle did his best Cole Trickle move and aimed right at him figuring he wouldn’t be there when he got to him. Guy shot back up the road, straightened it out going downhill backward, spun it back around to forward and left the scene immediately. Pickle saw it all, and the guy in the pickup yelled holy shit you guys ok and we waived him off.

That's the kind of thing that makes me try to minimize unnecessary driving. You can do everything right, and someone else can come along and activate your final exit scenario in an instant anyway. Glad you are ok.

Dude, that was way too close for comfort. Glad you walked out of that one alive. Great defensive driving right there.

similar thing happened to me on Hwy101.  I saw the car lose control and it just started crossing the multi-lanes.  it was slow mo, and I kinda steered right past it.

but to have one coming right at me?  Yeezsh..

Not to take away from this original incident.  Again, so glad all is well!

Yesterday I was cutting hair on a dad and suddenly a loud screech that is unfortunately familiar from a turn on our block, yet on a slight bend of the frontage road where the salon is located, then the loudest boom crunch I’ve heard in my lifetime.  We look out the window and a car ricochets off the opposite rail and settles fully smashed and smoking 50yds from the telephone poll she struck.  I did not see the speed she was traveling but she seemed to “walk away”.  I’m so grateful wires did not land on my car or any debris, cuz things were flying!  My little car was in line for an incredible smash but not this time depicted by the red lines.  Everyone was shook.  About 10 people on scene,  not including cops and emergency personnel.  Power stayed on and I had to direct clients to park 1/2 a block away and walk and they did.  So grateful I didn’t have to close up shop and the power stayed on.  Life happens so quick when things go down.  Tell em’ you love em often…you know who I’m talking about…here’s to living well!

Heard a quote from a top gun squad that was their motto.  I like it a lot.

“Today I’m invincible unless God has other plans.”
