ny thought to the town of ELK opening this up a bit being we have a proven track record of being Kool and have $$$$ in our pockets to give?.......

I am going to work on this for next year, but the increase won't be huge.

The system ain't perfect, but it seems to be good enough.  There is always the rush, then a huge waiting list, and then the flaking begins and pretty soon almost everyone that wanted in gets in.

Sure I could move it, but there is no place as unique, and the cost would at least double...places like Albion are $40 a night.  Is that what we really want?

Just show up with old beat-up US-made pick-up truck, lifted with big fat monster truck tires, with a gun rack on the cab and KC fog lights on the roof.    And don't forget to put a sticker of "Cowboy- Up" on the rear window

Besides, everyone knows you should put on a dreadlock wig and drive a VW bus of at least 6 different colors, with 24  bumper stickers including two that say "Support your right to arm bears" and "Visualize whirled peas".

I'm headed to SoCal tomorrow for an overnight trip to the Islands (first saltwater of the year for me) so I'll be away from my computer 'til Sunday night  .
I'll just have to make it a priority to find a terminal somewhere & check in for the sign up.

I'm stoked, I may be able to attend this year.  My soccer tournament is the following weekend.  Hopefully I'll be one of the lucky ones.
