Farewell to Fishing Jay and Theresa (and doggies) - March 27 - Lake Del Valle

This is right near the big tree and tules between the boat launch parking lot and the swim beach parking lot. Total cost minus the deposit is $125. Please bring $$ to help cover the cost (payments will be made to Jay or Theresa)

* This will be a pot-luk event so bring your best dish and give Jay and Theresa a very well deserved send off - NCKA Style of course

 What I'm bringing : Fresh hand rolled lumpia with secret sauce.

i should be able to make it with my wife.  not sure what i'll bring yet.  do you know if we can paddle up and beach it near the site or will we need to load up and drive over?

I will be out of town that day.  It is my understanding that any picnic area can be claimed at 930AM if not occupied, even if it was reserved. I usually don't reserve picnic areas at DV unless it is a business event. Just get there at 9 AM and grab whatever is available and save the $125. Coyote Corner is actually a nicer area because of the large area to land kayaks. That is where Michelle had Brian's  "surprise" Bday party last year.  Lot of shore anglers however so put out some folding chairs to protect a launch zone.

Thanks for setting this up Mooch! This will be our last time on the water before we move, so it will be great to see everyone before we pack up and head north. We will bring the mutts and some meat for the grill. See you then!

Sounds like most people are good with grabbing a "first come first serve" site and playing the location by ear. Unless I hear otherwise I will cancel the picnic site reservation tomorrow (Wed).
