Surf Hali Monterey Bay Non Yak ( Pic added)

Just got back from some surf fishing at my favorite ( secret ) beach on Tioga street. Caught A healthy 24-1/2 in Halibut, fishing for stripers. I havent been able to catch a striper  yet but definetly love to settle for A Hali! I caught him in around four feet of water near the wet sands edge. He was caught on A fish trap. I will load pics latter...  Oh, it was my third cast.

gotta love the flatties.  Even better when you get them in the surf.

Yeah, that is SUPER cool.  Those fish never cease to amaze me.

Congrats, Andy! Nice going, that's two from the beach this year now, right? I've never caught one off the beach. Those fish are good eating, by the way, crazy profile pic!!

Nice picture of Chris and the halibut. Chris will have a kayak fishing buddy soon. My son brandon got hooked on the kayak fishing idea Yesterday. So for
the Bay and Lakes or for an easy ocean launch/landing, Chris will have a
fishing buddy.
