I used one of the costco boogie boards it was about $30.00. I love the thing for shore diving for abs and fish.  I attached the straps from an old ab tube and a bungi netting to hold my abs.  It is great for long walks and climbing down hills.  I used a loop of rope at the bottom to slip the but of my gun through to cover the tip I used a piece of PVC pipe and a plug I attached it to a bunge so all you have to do is slip it over the tip. It covers the tip and holds the gun in place securley and is easy to remove.
