My Little Ruse

OK I gotta come clean.
The kayak art pic in the living room was a joke I played on Becky.
We got a brand new piece of art that day to take that spot, just didn't have a chance to hang it yet. I jokingly put my kayak painting there before we left for the concert telling CHUB and his friend not to say a word as I knew she would hit the ceiling when we got home.
I was right and continuing the ruse defended it being there.
That was the whole reason for the post and poll.

I wanted to continue the joke with her by showing there would be some support. And I knew there would be some.
I was laughing my @ss off at the responses.
ESPECIALLY the grandma couch ones. That is actually a very modern and NEW loveseat with a matching couch. Needed a neutral tone to offset the red stained concrete floor.
I can see with the poor color quality of the photo and the stand alone pic how it appears different than it really is.....or.....
maybe a few of you need to pay more attention to HGTV. 
Thank you all who participated in my little ruse. Gotta keep the GF on her toes every now and then.

Tote, you are a riot.  I'm going to hang the stuffed marlin rescued from my neighbor's trash pile in our Dining Room and record the results.
