Monterey Bay Aug 2 Beer Festival Fishing

The Monterey Beer Festival is on Saturday, August 2.
I am just throwing this idea out there.
Fish in the morning. Then enjoy some good music+beer in the afternoon.

The event is a few months away but I'll dredge this post up from the depths in July, as a reminder.

I'm actually going to Beer Fest at Avila Beach this Saturday.  It's 60 bucks a ticket and all you can drink from breweries all over.  Is the Monterey Beer Festival like that or do you have to purchase all beers separately?

I recently went to Zinfest.    I'm a wine snob and get annoyed when they don't serve the good stuff.

Beerfest though.... I like beer, in most shapes and forms.

All you can drink for 30 bucks, my brother. Check the link. It used to be held adjacent to the Coast Guard jetty, right ON the water. But now it is up at the Fairgrounds. It will be fun.

Now that sounds like trouble. All you can drink. I hope they have a good public transportation system. Its hard to designate a driver at $30.00 entry.

Now I can respond to this one ,  Monterey has an EXCELLENT public transportation system! Just don't puke on my buses
