So how big to claim Lingzilla? 36", 40", 44" ? 20, 30, 40lbs? If you're going to post a joke reply make sure it's funny and also include how big of a ling you really would call Lingzilla if you personally caught it. Thanks.              Jim/redyak

I would think Lingzilla could refer to any ling caught that makes your day...no specific requirement...and no joke.

For me its gotta be around 40" and/or over 20#s.  The smaller ones are however better eating!

Can we get a fund together to get Danglin a new fillet knife?  I'll be the first to donate a couple bucks towards it.  Oh wait, there's one up at the top of the photo.

What's up with the knife on the cutting board.  I'm surprised that that old rusty bone handled knife could cut through anything let alone clean a fish. I hope you have your tetanus shot up to date Danglin.

If you're going to post a joke reply make sure it's funny /

How's this?

A man is out in his row boat when suddenly a passing speed boat raises huge waves and the man's oars fall overboard! He is stranded out in the middle of the lake!

After about two hours, he sees another row boat going by with a man and two women in it! The first man yells, "Hey buddy, can I borrow one of your oars?" The other man yells back,

"They're not whores ... they're my sisters!"
You don't quit playing because you get old, you get old because you quit playing...

There are a few criteria:  if you feel like you really have to use your giant net, it may be Lingzilla; if the head is bigger than yours, it may be Lingzilla;  if you're scared of it, it may be Lingzilla;  if the cheek meat is more than you need for dinner, it may be Lingzilla...  Inches-wise, I'm with Sean - around 40" or 20 pounds plus.  Up here we've caught a 28 pounder and several around 23-24 from the yaks - to keep the mystique maybe we should say Lingzilla is a 30+ pounder...

I wish I was on my yak now!   :smt001
