wow, pretty incredible shots.  seems tragic that most of the photos revolve around tragedy, death and despair...wouldn't it be nice if this new decade could be remembered as one of celebration?

When I reflect back on my life in the 00's, there is a lot of good stuff to remember...turning 21, graduating college, getting married, buying a house, having my first kid, getting into kayak fishing, and meeting all of these a-hulls in NCKA!
We should all have good things to remember and great things to look forward to!    *but no Jim, the Saints don't count as 00s because the superbowl was technically in 2010...wait, does that count?

Really incredible compilation. 

They need to replace that shot of the opening ceremonies with Michael Phelps' touchdown salute after Jason Lezak creamed Alain Bernard in the anchor leg of the 4 x 100 freestyle relay.  A thriller that is hands down the most incredible olympic relay event.  Ever.
