So You ThinkYou Can THROW IT DOWN?
« on: June 17, 2010, 10:21:30 am »
an NCKA 1st.!!

We all get together and do a Cook,Fry,Grill&Chill-Off !!  Charge a basic "Eat 'til You Pop" fee....we all win and if we desired, we can vote who is the KING or QUEEN!!!

Open it up to Friends & Family ,show them some pics from the NCKA Gourmet Gallery (we need one) and i'm sure we'll get a good-loooong-line of willing participants.
I am thinking a place with lots of FREE space, FREE parking and a big ol' grill.  San Leandro Marina , home of the last AOTY Awards Ceremonies would be GREAT!!

Fishing could also be done, buy those who want to.

I'll post a couple pics of my own to get the interests/juices flowing!! = Chorizo Stuffed Pork Loin / Pork-n-Pork!
So You Think You can Cook?
PROVE IT!

If we can't  get Flay it's got to be Morimoto. That man can COOK !!!!
If anyone is serious about an event with a celebrity chef, I'm guessing Guy Fieri might consider it. He's a local, Santa Rosa, boy. Got no idea how to contact him.
In the game of biggest fish, if you can't enjoy routinely gettin' your ass handed to you, by great fishermen, then you don't belong in the NCKA.

i wasn't serious, but Guy would probably attend it, just for the Good ol'grubb factor.  Who knows the guy? and maybe we should advertize it locally = maybe not?

I was hoping to do the same thing at Albion . I will supply as much fish as I can . Will work on details soon . I have at least 20 lbs of ahi and 10 lbs of yellowtail . And I might donate 10 to 15 lbs of wahoo . So who thinks they can out cook me ...? Bring it !

I know this is a winner...

No Bull,  It was around 10:00, I'm cleaning the Fire Engine...

and all of sudden,  " So Ya think you can Cook... "  pops into my head...

Heh,  that's funny... where did that come from????

what a trip...  ncka now travels telepathically....

Great Idea getting celeb to attend,  shouldn't be to hard, but we should nail down a date asap and if serious, be flexible per celeb situation.

Searching for fish I am.
Eat them I will.
