MBK Monterey Bay Kayaks Derby 8/8/10

With my newly acquired kayak rigging/surf/rescue skills and tips on fishing the bay I'm ready.

I took the MBK training with Aaron on Saturday. I highly recommend it.

Where is the closest and/or best RV camping in the area?

Hey Porky, Call MBK and register by phone, then check in and sign a waiver the day of the derby.We will accept entries the day of the derby, but preregistration always makes the process smoother.

Was going to be out of town at Reggae Rising, but they cancelled it!    So, guess i'll be there unless we decide to go out of town (have the time off...).

Hey guys we only have three signed up for this event. Last year by this time we had over seventy!

Please preregister for this super fun derby or we will have to reschedule or make serious consideration as to wether or not we will hold this year's event.I know many of you who are planning to attend, but haven't registered. Now is the time to pull the trigger for your chance to win a new Ocean Kayak Trident 13!

Halibut, lings, striper, quality rf and even calicos being caught at MBK recently. With a venue this fishy it would be a shame to miss it.

Really if you are on the fence, get off and pre-register so we an have this event happen again.

If the numbers are too low, MBK may have to cancel or alter the Grand prize to a lesser value item.  One week to go essentially, so do it now if you're gonna.
