If the Pacific were in my backyard, I'd sleep in too (this means you Darius  :smt003). I have to take in every second of fishing the salt when I'm there. I can sleep when I'm dead. Two a days are the rule.
So I'm packing my bags for the Misty Mountains, where the spirits go...........

pisciform: having the shape of a fish
From Latin roots, piscis = fish + forma = shape

Kind of dry, I think, & about time to change it.

My name's Jim, and at 6 foot 4 and 240 pounds, I guess I seem big to most of my buddies, so Big Jim is one of my more common nicknames...

What does you screen name mean?

agarcia: (a*gar*see*a) latin n: 1. devilishly handsome, above average charm and unequaled wit.
                                     adj. 2.   full of sh*t
..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker

Algernon Swift is the intrepid young protagonist of my as-yet-unwritten series of children's books entitled, "The Adventures of Algernon Swift." Alas, I've been stuck in the brainstorming phase for the last three years, but at least I have a good title.  :smt003

Algernon is also the name of my cat. I'm rather partial to the name, taken from "The Importance of Being Ernest" (not "Flowers for Algernon").

Hmm... when I first joined, and needed a screen name, I took a look around my meager studio. On my computer table was a copy of a Saltwater Sportsman mag with a mako shark on the cover. I tried the name mako and was not allowed. I added the number 1, and was born.
Ther were other mags, but I thought mako1 was better than Juggs1.
It would have been better if it was a name appointed to me though. More street cred!
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

My moniker means I didn't realize how long a spur of the moment, stupid, cutsie little screen name can follow you from the first log in.   :smt012

Amen brother. I did the same....EWB is my initials Eric William Berg. Not very original. DAMN I should be have been more creative.

"Sin Coast" is a play on words.
Sin sounds like Cen, as in Central Coast. I think it's called a homophone. But I think I'm the only one who got it, so I'm glad you started this thread, Jeff!
