  I remember a former room-mate I had tried to "Curry" a few mackrel.  OMG did the house STINK for a week after that!  Didn't work, or smell to good to me, but he liked it and ate it all up.  Me & my other room- mate begged him not to cook that in the house again.  His Beef curry yes, he could cook that all he wanted, just not the fish!

My Dad was Italian, my mom was from Spain but I was born and raised in the Philippine Islands....go figure 


When I was a kid, all I spoke was spanish but when I started going to school, I learned english and tagalog and never went back to spanish...coz there were no spanish speaking kids to converse with  But I'm still fluent in tagalog

Only you could generate five page of posts about dines      A guy catches a few WSB and he gets 3-4 pages. Only the Landlord generates more interest than a Mooch post on Dines  . That's the Mooch magic. So are the dines still out there in big numbers?  I'm thinking Sunday or Monday for a bucket full

I went by the dock to see what everyone was catching - definitely no sardines or macks being caught (not yet at least) but I did see a lot of tiny perch being caught.

Was there today 9/6. Out to the green bouy & drifted around for several hours. Hardly anything on the FF. Only hooked into some dinks not worth keeping. back in the harbor for a couple hours and only a handful of sardines, There were HUGE schools of bait on the FF, but by the few I caught I'd say it's say it's 99% surf smelt. If I'd had a net, It would have been deep fried smelt for dinner
