Oh yeah...my son went to Sacred Heart school one year and saw Ronnie Lott and his family. His wife is a fox!!  His kids go there.

One more...  My dad went to High School with Clint Eastwood at Oakland Tech.  He signed his year book too...I need to find that!

I sold a SUP (Stand Up Paddle) board to one of Larry Ellison's personal assistants....a week later, Larry sent him back to Aquan Sports to pick-up some of our demo SUP boards to try out (with his wife). Unfortunately, the demo never happened and the SUP boards were returned...the Big Boss had too much going on at the time. Oh well, perhaps some other time :smt002

I met George Seifert in Mendocino once. I knew he was a 49ers coach, but I thought he was Bill Walsh until he said his name.

I met the drummer of the grateful dead once in Mendocino too. He was having girl problems. She was a nut!

I have met a couple of people who said they were Jesus Christ, but they all turned out to be crazy. My suggestion is to check their identification card before you ask them to preform miracles.

CHEERS!

Timothy Leary... :hippy2:,

When I was with " Rock Med " I dived into " The Pit " to get a Passouted beauty from the Frey...

while I was working on Her behind the wall in front of the Stage that " Tool " was jamming on,

This Really Weird Old Dude is looking at me...., we get her passed off to the Medics and Tool takes a Break and this Old FK'er comes up to me and starts asking stupid questions. I can Barley understand what he is trying to say and it's getting exhausting. I explain the Philosophy of Rockmed to help kids who get a little too wasted at Concerts and keep them from the cops and help them out.

Get This.... he then Say's, " That's Really Really Really Kool Man..... " and takes his index finger and dots me right in the middle of my Forehead!!!!

I'm just about ready to Knock him out and he says, " Hey Super Kool Dude, help me up to get onto the stage..."

Oh.. Ok... I think, let Security Kill this Guy.... :smt003

He gets up there, grabs the Mic... " I'm Timothy Leary!!! And This Is TOOL!!!!!! " :headbang: :headbang:

He was with the Entorage, that was a VERY Strange looking Group,

Thought they were from the Future or something, :tongue2: :icon_r&r: :bunny: :toothy3: :smt032

 Wish I got his autograph........

Helped Joe Satriony get His Bass Player out his car, He looked bad. Real sick... I told Joe.. :smt003

" There is no way he's going to be able to play and we should call a ambulance..."

" Oh, No way man, One of your Doc's said he could help him out.... "

I don't know what they did for this guy, But, I never seen such a Hot Bass player in all my days!!!
Guy Jammed and Jumped all over the Place the whole show, Joe was Great too... :smt004

Also, got to lean against David Gilmore's ( My Hero... :smt007 ) Stack of Amplifiers at the Oakland

Coliseum,  I don't think he appreciated it, But I'll never forget it..... :headbang:

I could go on, but I think I'll start to sound like Forest Gump...

Late 70's/early 80's, when the 'Niners were staying at the old brick SJSU dorms along S. 10th street (since replaced with high-rise dorms that meet the sidewalk), I met and got the autograph of OJ Simpson on the grass in front of those old dorms.

Wish I'd have held on to that...  or do I?   :smt009

Careful, he may come busting into your home with a couple "associates" waving a pistol around to get it back!  :smt044

1974 I was in the Navy stationed at New London, CT. Me and a couple of guys went to Providence Rhode Island to see Steppenwolf and J. Geils Blues Band. When in the Holiday Inn we saw the these long haired cowboy types and thought they looked out of place in New England.

After the concert  back at the Hotel bar these cowboy types come in and start drinking with us. We close the place down and head up to our rooms and these guys are still partying like rock stars.
The next morning we see them leaving the hotel in Limos with there cases and stuff labled  ZZ Top.

Guess I could say I partied with ZZ Top even though we didn't who they were at the time.

Great stories, everybody.

I've had two encounters with the famous. I once saw Joe Montana in the Santa Rosa Plaza and at Wrestlemania 2 (I think) I slapped Hulk Hogan's arm as he was walking by!

Oh yeah, I've seen the following people in Vegas:

Arturo Gatti
Dennis Rodman (With about 100 people following him around)
Pete Rose (See him in Caesar's all the time)
Lawrence Taylor (wayyy back in the cuts of MGM Grand)
Sarah Jessica Parker (looked like hell)
Rashad Evans (cool guy)

I also saw Charles Barkely and MJ in Tahoe from a distance, but they had at least a hundred people mobbing them.

And I see ex-UFC fighter Dave Terrell all the time in Santa Rosa.

I saw Hacksaw Reynolds in a beauty supply store in San Mateo (my wife is a hairdresser) about a week and a half before the Superbowl in 1982. I said, "Jack Reynolds"? and he said, "Yeah", and I shook his hand and wished him good luck in the game.

I had an ice cream and shook hands with Mel Gibson at Ft. Hunter Ligget ... I was an extra (dead VC) in a movie for a week ...fun/different kind of work ... but I'd rather be yak fishing.

Watched in complete awe 10 years ago or so, as my then girlfriend told Brian Setzer t "F#@%! Off" after trying to hit on her outside a burrito joint in Santa Rosa. Never been so proud. I did the "Stray Cat Strut" all the way home!

Back in the eighties I went on a PB run by Virgs out of Morro Bay.  While fishing the deckhand came up to me and said that Brian Keith (Uncle Bill) was fishing just down the rail.  He was friendly.
