I might hit the green trails at Hollister OHV on Saturday.

Dustin, I might wanna join you.  Sounds like fun.  Haven't been since the storms but I do know that part of it is open. :smt004

I wonder how the trails are going to look after getting hammered for weeks?
My 4Runner has been in the shop for 6 fucking weeks now and I'm hoping I get it back by the 17th.

Looks like the other site is also booked all weekend. Kinda sucks, but oh well.

I just checked again and both sites are open Friday night, but someone else has site B on Saturday.

Any issues on kayak inspection if it is raining?

I recall several years ago when it was raining, the person inspecting was fairly lenient but you never who will be at the kiosk that day.  Loading the kayak upside down should help keep water out of the hatches.

Why not?

Just joking , Sonny.
More often than not I bring my kayak, get it all set-up, buy $30 worth of bait, and never even go fishing. Or I do go fishing for like 2 hours.
If I'm lucky I will be getting my 4Runner back just in time to get my tires put on it, then go home to pack-up and bounce. I'm not going to worry about loading up the kayak and all the extra gear this year. I'm coming for the Chill.

Annnnd-

The biggest striped bass ever caught in California was a 67 pound 8 ounce striper caught by Hank Ferguson. This trophy sized bass was pulled from the O’Neill Forebay on May 7, 1992.
