Took a drive down to the wharf for lunch yesterday with some hope that maybe I could also catch bait or something while there for the heck of it.  Got the wharf and the mighty San Lorenzo has muddied up the water so bad it was chocolate milk a long ways out.  It was way too cold in the wind even with a decent jacket, just had that bitter cold to it and I didn't feel like breaking out the sabiki anymore.  But then I noticed there were these guys out there practicing sailing.   They seemed to be doing just fine in that cold ass chocolate milk water with wind and waves  :smt005  What kind of gear do they use in those conditions?  Drysuits would be my guess, but not really sure.

Recently while we were surfing Santa Cruz one of the locals was telling me the baitfish are thick and furbags are gorging on them

I guess it would only be legal to fish them from shore right now?

Why can't you fish for baitfish from a boat/kayak?
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?
