Today, a donation of $6500 was made to the Golden State Salmon Association, which sponsors several trips a year to introduce kids to fishing. It was a long-time wish of Joel Lotilla to introduce kids to fishing.

Thanks to Alan Tani for the referral and to Allen Bushnell (Bushy) and Allen Sansano (Polepole) for their assistance and encouragement to accumulate funds through the sales of NCKA stickers, hawg troughs, Hoo Rags, etc. for this endeavor. Hopefully, more donations will be made in the future.

Thanks for the info Howard.  Will they take fishing gears for donations?  If yes, do you have the contact info?

Strong work and a good cause to get behind :smt006
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

It's not just a sticker, it's a ticket for that kid who might not otherwise get a chance to join us in our healthy obsession.

thanks Howard you're an unsung hero in my book!!

Awesome.  While many kayak fishing forums are waning, it's nice to participate in one that has daily activity.
